My Classes!

Just popping in to let you know that I have 2 classes currently running at Miss Art's Papercrafting School!
Sweet Snafus with Heidi Kelley:
If you have children, you know how important a sense of humor can be in maintaining your sanity. Little helpers can often be a little too helpful. Whether you just walked into your crafting space to discover your little man making a pinata from a newly completed layout, or happened upon your princess concocting fairy soup with your glitter, Sweet Snafus is a 201 class which will help you smile while you make the most of some common papercrafting mishaps. Crumpled paper, spilled paint, gluing gone awry and frustrated cries of anguish don’t stand a chance with Heidi Kelley and Alyssa Mcgrew teaching you how to turn oops into amazing in 12 easy-to-follow videos
 And Cluster Muster:
Embellishments can be a listless and standoffish bunch. If you spend hours trying to get pearls, buttons, fussy cuts and ribbon to overcome first date jitters you need a material matchmaker.  “Cluster Muster,” a 101 class taught by Alyssa McGrew, takes the first kiss awkwardness out of pairing up embellishments. In 4 easy to follow videos, Alyssa teaches you how to create clusters that will showcase your photos and your artistic perspective. Whether you want them to proclaim your page title boldly, or to subtly frame a photo “Cluster Muster” will have your embellishments playing nice in no time.
I hope you can join me for these fun classes!  Just click here.

Seeing Pink...

Since our home remodel is coming along, but still underway, all my scrap stuff is still packed up for the most part.  That meant that this layout was created with one little mini kit while sitting on my couch.  :)  I wasn't about to let that stop me from working with this Color Combos Galore palette, however.  The colors are gorgeous!

I ended up with some older Crate paper here, and some mists.  This project is the cover page for an album being made for a friends new baby, so the baby's name will be added after she is born.  :)

Thanks for coming by- Make sure to play along with this palette for a chance to win a Miss Art's Subscription!

Color Combos and Miss Arts!

This month Miss Art's Papercrafting School is thrilled to be sponsoring Color Combos Galore!  We are giving away a few extra credit subscriptions, so make sure you get your take on the palette uploaded over there to have your shot at winning!  Here is this week's palette:
I was honored to guest design this week, and here is my take (created in the middle of a huge home renovation, lol!)

Can't wait to see your takes!

My Last Post for Prima...

This will be my last post for Prima, and it's very bittersweet.  I have loved being part of this amazing team, and the ladies I was working with are extraordinary women and designers, every one of them.  My new role at Miss Art's Papercrafting School takes me out of the running for another term with Prima, and so I am stepping back and waiting anxiously to see who the new lucky ladies will be.

As for me, we are putting our house on the market, and moving into the country if it sells. Remodeling and selling will take a big part of my time for the next few weeks, and of course my work at Miss Art's will continue (I'm loving every minute of that!)  I will also still be working with the lovely Erica and Your Scrapbook Stash for the new DT term (announcement coming soon!).  I think that's enough to keep my busy for a bit!  Hopefully I'll find the time to be a better blogger, too.  :)

So, back to the project that brings me here: The Prima Product Pick (PPP) for June.  Check out these amazing summery colors!
And here is my take on it:
Thanks for coming by!
