More Info About Stash to Treasure!

More info about Stash to Treasure (including the outline of my class) is available on the YSS Blog!  The kit is now for sale, and you can now subscribe... but the site won't be live until sometime Friday, so you won't get your log-in until then.  I will post here and at YSS as soon as it is live, so you can go check it out.

I promise to get back to blogging with creative stuff soon... it's just been a little crazy around here!  Thank you for all your wonderful comments and support.  I truly appreciate each and every one!

Day 4 (last giveaway!)

Welcome to Day 4 of the Your Scrapbook Stash Blog Hop.  My final giveaway of the week is at the bottom of this post.  :)

I made this little box last night.  I photographed it in my hand so you can see how small it is. I used the Basic Grey Wander Collection from the YSS store, and just had a little fun.  The box is destined to one day belong to my son, but I am going to wait until he gets through his "Destroy Everything I Touch" stage before I give it to him.  (Please, no one tell me that lasts for many years!)
All the little cut-out pieces are form the Bike Messenger paper from this collection. The stickers are from the Olivia Collection.  I just love how elements of BG collections work so well with other BG Collections.

Thank you for all of your amazing feedback about my upcoming class and the start of Stash to Treasure.  I am so excited about this, and it's so much fun to hear that you are too!  Yesterday, I filmed 5 (yes, 5!) videos for the class.  Each day for the first 6 days of October, you will get 2 videos and a tutorial, so that we can work through this fabulously fun album together.

Want to know more?  Well, yesterday I filmed 4 pages of the album being created, so you have step-by step "how-tos."  I also filmed a tutorial video showing you how to make those letters on the cover of my album...and so much more.  :)

I have one more $10 gift certificate to give away today!  If you want to win some Stash Cash, leave me a comment on this post and I will choose a winner on Saturday.  The giveaways below are open until Saturday also!

Welcome to day 2 of the YSS Blog Hop!  (Are you having fun yet?)  :)  If you missed the store blog, make sure to go back to that one, so you don't miss any chances to win.  There is another giveaway at the bottom of this post, so make sure you get to the end.  :)

Today I want to share one of my favorite layouts from each of my fellow DT members.  Each of their names is hyperlinked, and they are in order, so you can keep hopping.  :)

Susan added the lovely layout to the YSS gallery recently, and I just love the movement that the crystal swirls add to it!

Valerie had me from first glance with the incredible stitching on this layout.

(Valerie's layout is out for publication.  I have good taste!  :)

Lady Grace created this layout, which I think is just gorgeous in it's simplicity.

Erica created this layout a bit ago, and I love the coordinated look of it, with those adorable little planes and clouds!

Heidi made this layout a few weeks ago, and it just keeps popping into my head as one of the coolest things I have seen in a while.  Check out what she did with the smooch paints!

Heidi's layout is Out for Publication. (I have very good taste!)

And, don't forget to visit out Guest Designer, Julie Bonner!  She has giveaways too!

Ok, now before you hop away, I promised you another giveaway. Today I am giving away a Clipa.   These are available in the Your Scrapbook Stash Store, but I am giving you a chance to win one right here!  Never leave your purse on a nasty floor again!
So, leave a comment on this post to be entered to win (US residents only, please).  I will pick a winner on Saturday.

Tomorrow I have a fun little sneak peek of something big I have up my sleeve.  ;)

And the beginning is... NOW!

I am so excited to be telling you (finally!) about one of my two new ventures  (the other one being my class at Your Scrapbook Stash... and more details on that are just around the corner, I promise!).  We are starting the Your Scrap Cash Consignment Sale in Central Indiana!  If you live in the Lafayette, IN, Indianapolis, IN, or Champaign, IL areas, you can check out our brand new website and find all the info on the sale HERE.

This is your chance to sell all those partially used or unused items you have, and to shop for new goodies at a local 2 day sale.  Bargain basement prices make it fun and affordable to clear out your extra stash and find all sorts of new, must-have items.

The Lafayette, Indiana sale is first up, and will be held November 11-13th.  All the details are on our website at http://yourscrapcash.blogspot.com.

At Last...

I scrapped my first layout of the last two weeks last night.  It felt great.  Life has been so crazy the last week that I haven't even been thinking about creating anything, which is really strange for me.  At the same time, while life has been so crazy, I have found myself noticing that my daughter is growing up.  Way to quickly, if you ask me.  I am in the middle of some major life changes, and I started to feel like her childhood was slipping through my fingers.  When I saw this photo last night, it reminded me that there are still parts of her that are little, things that show the bits of my baby still hanging around.  I was reminded to slow down and take the time to just be with her, play with her, and enjoy the moments.  Because no matter how crazy my life is right now, she isn't going to stop growing up.  Every moment I miss now is gone forever.

Journaling reads: You are in such a hurry to grow up, but I am enjoying the signs that you're not there just yet.
I created the bricks with grungeboard.  I cut it into rectangles, painted them white, misted them about 6 times with 2 different colors, and then inked the edges.

Papers are from K&Co. "Jubilee." and Tim Holtz.

More exciting things are up my sleeve.  Next week I will be sharing my newest undertaking, and if you are in Indiana, you will be especially interested.  :)

Watch for previews of my class with Your Scrapbook Stash to start soon also!  Oh, and speaking of which, there are some great contests going on at YSS that you can find HERE.
