I am teaching at Miss Art's!

Today I have 2 upcoming classes to tell you about. This is what's been keeping me busy and turning me into such a bad blogger!  You can get BOTH classes for just $15 as an Extra Credit Subscriber at Miss Art's Papercrafting School.  What a deal, right?  Here's some info about the classes.

First, a 101 level class starting on June 1st: Cluster Muster!

Then, a 201 class with Heidi Kelley and myself- teaching together!  This class will be a little bit humorous, with LOTS of techniques mixed in.  More about Sweet Snafus:

Prima Palette for May

I love color inspiration, and this month's palette from Prima Marketing certainly provides that!  Check out this gorgeous color scheme:
 Here's my take on it:
That's my daughter, in her "bed" made from a laundry basket, with her stuffed animal in it's "bed' made from a toy bin.  It was very cute, and is a scene that replay's iteself often, as my children have a keen desire to make beds everywhere they go.  :)

Have fun with the colors, then make sure you enter to win!  Details are in THIS POST.

NSD Fun!

It's National Scrapbook Day (well, tomorrow, for some of us)!  That means lots of fun all over the world wide web, as well as at thousands of prizes all over the place.  Prima is hosting a totally fun blog hop, where you collect words along the way, then send the completed sentence in for your chance to win!  If you got here without starting at Prima's blog, you'll need to go back to Prima to collect the first word.

Before I give you my word, here is the project I created for this blog hop, using the "Reflections" collection from Prima:

Now, time for the secret word.  The word that you need to collect from my blog is:

GLUE

Finish the blog hop to complete your sentence, then email your answers to sharon@primamarketinginc.com to be entered to win one of 3 a great prizes (details on the Prima Blog):
You might recognize one of the prizes- it's a May kit from Miss Art's Papercrafting School!

Miss Art's is having a sale this weekend!  In celebration of NSD, if you want to make sure that you get one of these kits before they're gone, you can use code NSD15 to save 15% on anything in the Miss Art's store.  You have to be a subscriber to get this code, so if you're thinking about subscribing, this weekend is the perfect time!

Now, on with the hop!  It's time for you to go and visit the talented Jamie: www.jaylynnscraps.blogspot.com

Happy NSD!

For Mother's Day...

I created this layout recently with a photo of my mom and daughter.  The papers are from Prima's "Melody" collection, and I used a lot of them!  There are no embellishments on this page at all!  All I used is paper and alphas.

Thanks for coming by!  Some fun stuff happening here tomorrow, so stay tuned!!

Prima Project Share

I have a few Prima layouts to share today.  These are from the Prima CHA booth in January, and I have been waiting a long time to be able to share them.

First up, this layout uses Sparkling Spring, and some Knitties flowers.  This line is everything spring and so beautiful!  I used a little of the flower packaging to add some additional details to the layout.

This line uses the  Melody Collection.  While I don't normally gravitate to purple, I find this line easy to use nonetheless.  I think it's the combination of stunning patterns and details.

This layout is made with Sweet Fairy and a wide array of flowers.  I LOVE the colors and vibrancy of this line!

 Thanks for stopping by!
