Sooo... my weekend creative time has been cut short by some unrelated ventures, so I am without a project to share today. BUT I do have a giveaway, so hopefully you'll forgive me! Erica is at CHA shopping for the latest and greatest new stuff for the store, and I gave her my list. :) I need some new CRATE PAPER and Basic Grey, and Prima (a girl can never have too many masks! Oh, my goodness, I was SO TEMPTED to make the title of this post "YSS CHA DT BH!" Yes, I am sarcastically funny at times (at least to myself).

My Boy Wonder

Today I had the chance to play with Palette #42 from the Color Room. Such a fun palette! I worked out of my scrap bin again, and I just love how these palettes let me use so many scraps.

The photos are of my son, who decided that a plastic shoppng bag, complete with added leg holes, made a great super hero costume!

Lace and Roses

Recently, using the new Prima releases, I made this jar:

It was very difficult to photograph, but it looks so beautiful filled with gorgeous new Prima laces.

I wrapped the jar with paper from the Melody Collection, and added lots of lace and new trims... some of these are sneaks of things not shown yet...!

Reflections

NEW Prima is always the highlight of January for me, and this month is no exception. Check out the colleciton they sneaked today:

It's called Reflections, and it is one of my favorites from the new release. I say "one of" because there are more collections I am in love with too. Here is one layout I did with this release. I struggled with this one, and in the end it was a little cleaner and more linear then I am used to. However, I think I mostly struggled because I kept trying to put too much gorgeous product on the page! :) The layout features my younger brother and sister, who are not as young as I remember them being recently! ;)

A New Beginning

This month I am delighted to be creating with "Curio" from BasicGrey. The whole paper collection and several of the coordinating embellishments were in my much-anticipated DT box from Your Scrapbook Stash for January. Here is a layout I created a few days ago.

I took this photo on the day my husband and I launched our new business, Your Scrap Cash. It seemed like a day when I needed a photo of the sunrise. It was a day of new beginnings, and the road has been both busy and fun since then!

Some Websters Pages Fun!

I've been playing the Webster's Pages again. I just can't resist! And since I got the "Waiting for Santa" line in my box from Your Scrapbook Stash, it was the perfect excuse (not that I needed one!).

I made this for my new business cards. I kept it uncharacteristically simple, because it has to hold up to the inside of my purse!

This layout came about because my daughter is going through a clumsy stage, tripping over her feet and such. I wanted to remind her that she is beautiful, even when she's not graceful. I also LOVE the colors in these Garden Gala Alphabets, so I tried to highlight them.

More Waiting for Santa with a few bits from older lines. The challenge this month is to create a Thank You card, to pay our respects to the current Websters DT, as they move over and make way for the new team. So here is my card for the challenge (and for Your Scrapbook Stash!).

Prima Palette

So, I want to apologize for the quiet around here. I'm busy working on top-secret stuff, like CHA projects with brand new releases. :) So I will have LOTS to show in a few weeks, just not right now. I will have some things for Your Scrapbook Stash coming in a few days, so hopefully the next silence will not be too long!

I do have one to share today though. It's the Prima Product Pick and Palette for January:

Here's my take on the palette. It's also an early sneak of a few of the BRAND NEW gorgeous items coming out this winter from Prima! I used one of the new masks to create the background. There is so much in this new release I LOVE. Wait till you see the papers!!

An ATC Trio!

Today, I have the privilege of being the Featured Artist on the Design Memory Craft Blog. Several months ago, I was asked to do some commissioned artwork with their new product lines, and I was thrilled to accept.
