Fall!

I know it’s not fall here in the US, but it certainly is somewhere, and I know I have scrappy friends everywhere.  This layout is created with those on the other side of the equator in mind!  You can see all the details and learn about the products at Pretty Little Studio.

Just a Little Help

We all need a little help sometimes, right?  This photo was taken 2 years ago, and we recently visited the same place again.  My 4 year old son didn’t need nearly as much help washing his hands (after petting the goats) as he did 24 months ago.  It’s amazing just how fast things change.

I used lots of Want2Scrap products on this layout, from the canvas and stars to the lettering, which I blackened simply by rubbing it on an ink pad.

Here’s my project, created with this fabulous pairing.  I started by attaching the Want2Scrap™ Nestaboard with the awesome Extreme Tac from Glue Arts.

Then I added layers and dimension with the 3-D Combo Pack.

This is the final project.  I used lots of Nestaboard and Nestbling on this page.

1 Look

no matter how hard he tries to hide it, my son admires his big sister.  I managed to catch the expression I love so much in this photo.  I just love all the admiration on his face, and the sentiment it expresses.  Even though Milena is the focal point of this shot, my eyes are always drawn to my little man’s face.  So precious.

Curiosity

Many times, I think it’s easy to forget how curious the littlest ones among us can be.  The 1 to 2 year can be especially busy, because everything is new to them (can you even imagine that?!)  These photos my brother sent of my nephew reminded me of that age, and how much fun (and work!) it can be.  The Monsieur Collection from Pretty Little Studio was perfect for these pics.  You can read more about my process in making this page, as well as see more from the rest of the team HERE.

It’s a Conspiracy!

This is my first time playing along at the Color Conspiracy, and it was a total blast!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this inspiration palette, especially that it includes woodgrain!

Notes from Mom

I’ve been working to use my Silhouette more recently, and this new Echo Park combined with some of my die cuts to create this layout:

The envelopes, the doilies, the vines, and even the title are cut from cardstock.

This proves it- I need to use that machine WAY more then I do!
